Qualification
Ask for the evidence the commission requires.
A buyer needs enough evidence to judge whether a firm can perform a defined role. M4Forge does not publish client names, site details, personnel or sensitive technical material as marketing content. Once the proposed commission is clear, the buyer can issue an evidence schedule and M4Forge can confirm what is available, what can be disclosed and any qualification gap.
01 / Buyer checklist
Five checks for a proposed appointment.
The evidence request needs to match the work. A generic brochure or a long list of projects is not a substitute.
- 01Corporate standingLegal entity, insurances and the commercial particulars required by the procurement route.
- 02Relevant competenceThe disciplines, named roles and checking arrangements needed for the work being procured.
- 03Delivery capacityAvailability, resourcing, governance and controls for the proposed programme and location.
- 04Relevant experienceComparable role, scale, complexity and delivery conditions. Disclosure depends on client permission and security constraints.
- 05Security and information handlingThe people, systems and project arrangements required by the buyer's security rules.
02 / Due diligence
Qualification is a procurement exercise, not a website claim.
- 01Scope the roleState the duties, outputs, authority, project stage and operating conditions.
- 02Issue an evidence scheduleAsk for the exact records needed by the procurement and the proposed role.
- 03Confirm availabilityM4Forge states what exists, what can be disclosed and where a gap or restriction remains.
- 04Review through the agreed channelUse the recipient and handling arrangements appropriate to the information.
- 05Record the appointmentWrite the approved scope, duties, assurance controls, exclusions and acceptance basis into the commission.
03 / Disclosure
Confidentiality does not replace due diligence.
M4Forge will not use confidential clients, sensitive locations, personnel profiles or security arrangements as public proof. That protects legitimate interests, but it does not entitle the firm to avoid scrutiny.
Where evidence is unavailable, restricted or insufficient for the role, that needs to be stated before appointment. The buyer can then narrow the scope, require additional assurance or choose another route.
Qualification enquiry
Send the role and evidence schedule, not the project detail.
Identify the service, procurement stage, duties and records you need to review. Keep client names, exact locations and technical detail out of the first approach.
